real 1920s gangster
On the left is the 1920s gangster (possibly a mafia boss), while we have a rapper on the right?

Who is the real gangster? You guys decide. For me, all I know is that they don't make gangsters like they used to anymore.

Gangster Love Poems: Praise The Lord
The foxes have dens and, birds have nest
My heavenly Father knows what is best
I will follow Him until it is time to rest
Singing His praises from the east to the west
Yes, He has filled my glad heart with His peace and love
Beautiful things a home should be the symbol of
As I give Him my heart, which He has made a shrine,
I would do the same for a home, if it where mine

The man who tried to kill the Pope has been released from prison and says he is ready to reveal the motives for his attack.

Mehmet Ali Agca shot and wounded Pope John Paul II in 1981 as he rode through St Peter's Square in an open top jeep.

The pontiff narrowly survived, spending several weeks recovering in hospital.

Agca, a Turk who had previously been involved in gangster crime, was immediately arrested and spent 19 years in an Italian jail before being officially pardoned in 2000.

He was then extradited to Turkey where he served time for further crimes, including the murder of a newspaper editor.

The Pope announced his forgiveness of Agca three days after the shooting during a live radio broadcast from his hospital bed.

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi spent a night in hospital after an attack that left him with a broken nose and two teeth knocked out.

The assailant threw a replica of Milan's gothic cathedral into the face of the 73-year-old billionaire after a rally in the northern city, in an attack that Italian newspapers said highlighted political tensions in the country.

Doctors said Berlusconi would spend up to two days in the San Rafaele Hospital, where a banner at the gates said: "Prime Minister Berlusconi get well soon. Real Italians are always with you," ANSA news agency reported.

That will hardly console Berlusconi who is mired in a sex scandal, divorce and political dissent. On Dec. 5, tens of thousands of Italians fed up with the premier marched peacefully through Rome to demand his resignation.

The demonstrators are unhappy with Berlusconi's conflict of interests, citing repeated government-backed laws they contend were tailored to help shield him from prosecution in cases involving his media, real estate and sports empire.

Now gangsters are in the act too as the attack is believed to have a mob connection. Rumors have circulated for years that Berlusconi began his real estate career thanks to Mafia financing.

Are the Italian mafia involved? Stay tuned for updates.
